Summary
| Description |
English: Göran Kropp at Skinnarviksberget, Stockholm, Sweden, October 1995, at the press conference prior to his leaving on a six month bike trip to Mount Everest. The photo was taken using a Pentax LX camera, Fujichrome Professional color slide film and a 100 mm lens. This image is scanned from the original slide using an Agfa Snapscan flatbed scanner, hence the low resolution. The reason I was able to take this photo is that I was present at the press conference Göran held at Skinnarviksberget on the day of his departure. As a representative from the Swedish Climbing Association, as well as a personal friend of Göran's, I gave a short talk at the press conference, putting Göran's project into a historical perspective |
