DescriptionGreen Lane - geograph.org.uk - 1509197.jpg
English: Green Lane An old route that once linked the village of Streat with Streat Common. The latter was enclosed in the 17th century and subsequently the track served the farms at Shergolds and Deans as well as Upper Streat Green a small area of common lane now at the end of this green lane. The route failed to make it into the motor vehicle age and is now a bridleway though it retains its borders as a reminder of its use as a droving route. This section is to the south of Dean's Farm.
