Description
English: SUSPENDED BY A HEAVY CRANE, A HIMAG (HIGH MOBILITY AND AGILITY) TEST VEHICLE HOVERS INCHES OFF THE GROUND DURING A TEST TO DETERMINE ITS CENTER OF GRAVITY. THE HIMAG IS PART OF AN EXPERIMENTAL CONCEPT IN ANTI-TANK WARFARE THAT INVOLVES EXTREMELY QUICK, LIGHTWEIGHT VEHICLES WITH TANK-KILLING ARMAMENT. YUMA PROVING GROUND HAS BEEN CONDUCTING TESTS OF THE HIMAG VEHICLE FOR THE U.S. ARMY TEST AND EVALUATION COMMAND, WHICH TESTS PROPOSED ARMY MATERIEL AT NINE INSTALLATIONS AND ACTIVITIES ACROSS THE CONTINENT.
