Summary

Description
English: Harley Psalter (Harly MS 603), folio 24v instruments. From the left a fingerhole horn/trumpet, harp, fingerhole horn/trumpet, lute. (The lute is also in the Utrecht Psalter, with more detail). Francis W. Galpin (music/musical instrument historian) implied in his book "Old English Instruments of Music" that the Harley Psalter contained images of the cornett. He doesn't publish a photo, but as these are fingerhole trumpets, a researcher can have confidence that he meant this image.
