Summary

Description
English: Tropical Storm Hector at peak intensity on August 14 2012. At the time the image was taken, the low level circulation center was exposed due to vertical wind shear from the east. Hector was one of the rare, and few storms which form directly from an Atlantic storm, Hurricane Ernesto.
