Description
English: Hecate holding two torches and dancing in front of an altar, beyond which is a cult statue. The whole figure and face of the goddess was once covered with gold foil, while the little floating cloak was red. Attic black-glazed oinochoe, ca. 350–300 BC. From Capua, Italy.
Français : Hécate tenant deux torches et dançant devant un autel derrière lequel se trouve une statue de culte. À l'origine, la déesse était entièrement recouverte de feuilles d'or, tandis que le petit vêtement flottant était rouge. Œnochoé attique à glaçure noire, vers 350-300 av. J.-C. Trouvé à Capoue (Italie).
