Deutsch: Nordostansicht der Kalvarienbergkirche im 17. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Hernals.
Die Kirche, dem hl. Bartholomäus geweiht, wurde zwischen 1709 und 1714 neben der alten Bartholomäus-Kirche, die auf einem künstlich errichteten Kalvarienberg stand, errichtet. 1720 wurde die Betreuung von Kirche und Kalvarienberg Mönchen des Paulinerordens übertragen, die die gesamte Anlage von 1766 bis 1769 durch Baumeister Ritter erweitern ließen. Von 1889 bis 1894 wurde die Kirche nach Plänen des Architekten Richard Jordan umgebaut und erweitert und erhielt damit weitgehendst das heutige Erscheinungsbildː [1], [2].
