Text Appearing After Image: HOMER ROGERS. inent in local affairs there. He is president of theAllston Cooperative Bank, and is connected with theAllston Congregational Church. Root, Henry A., was born in Ware, Mass., Sept.3,1850. Learning the building trade with his fiither,he came to Boston, with his brother, in 1872, whenthe two joined the well-known builder Joseph W.Coburn, remaining with him, under the firm nameof Joseph W. Coburn & Co., until his death in 1884.Then they succeeded to the business, and have sincecontinued, under the firm name of W. A. & H. A.Root. Thev ha\e built a large number of buildingspublic and priwite, luiiiness blocks, mills, and privateresidences, in Boston and vicinity, and several impor-tant structures in New Hampshire.
