English: As seen in May 2020: a contributing property to the NRHP-listed University Park Historic District and a City of Buffalo landmark in its own right, the house at 82 Allenhurst Road, Buffalo, New York is noteworthy as an excellent example of the Craftsman Bungalow style of residential archtecture - the widely overhanging eaves with exposed rafter tails, as always, are the tell. The gable-roofed portico sheltering the French doors that serve as the entrance is a nice touch too. The house was built in 1921 by developer Anthony Huck. |
