Italiano: "Il Gigante Buono" di Curinga (Calabria), è un albero monumentale italiano appartenente alla specie del Platano Orientale. Ha un'età stimata in circa mille anni, una circonferenza di 18 metri e un'altezza di 20 metri. Ha un "portale" sul lato sud che consente l'ingresso al suo interno. La sua origine viene attribuita al monaco fondatore del Cenobio Basiliano di Sant' Elia che si trova poco più a monte della sorgente di Vrisi.
English: "The Good Giant" of Curinga (Calabria), is an Italian monumental tree belonging to the species of the Oriental Platans. It has an estimated age of about one thousand years, a circumference of 18 meters is a height of 20 meters. It has a "portal" on the south side that allows entry into it. Its origin is attributed to the founding monk of the Basilian Cenobio of Sant 'Elia, which is located a little further upstream of the water source of Vrisi.
