The Vero building as seen on the right of the Auckland City skyline is New Zealand second tallest building after the Sky Tower. It is 169 metres and is the headquarters of the Vero insurance company and other business. In 2000 it replaced the Ascott Metropolis Hotel Building as N.Z second tallest building.
