Description
English: Dr Edwin Leigh published a pamphlet describing the results of a controlled experiment using Pronouncing Orthography at Clay School in St Louis, Missouri, to teach children literacy. This included a table describing how expected progress through the Primer, & first two readers had improved by two quarters.
