Summary

Description A map of the UK Independent Television (ITV) regions from the major changes of 1993 until disappearance of regional names began in 1999. Regions shown are approximate. Overlaps between regions, were extensive. Boundaries follow, roughly, the areas where the majority of viewers were watching an overlap region, except in cases where a natural boundary (national borders, mountain chains) provide a more sensible break. Overlaps are therefore not shown. GMTV has now replaced TVam.
