The traditional outfit of Tetouan (region in the north of Morocco) is characterized by an abandonment of jewelry and ornaments. The woman wears on her head what is called "the Chedda of Tetouan" and wears a Moroccan Caftan whose finishes, cut and embroidery are specific to the region of northern Morocco and the city of Tetouan. Her makeup is of Amazigh (Berber) influence and is used by Moroccan women from the different Amazigh (Berber) tribes. |
