The illustration is specifically needed to support the following point(s): A superhero without any form of superpowers, Iron Man's armor is what gives the character his "powers" and has often been the subject of discussion in secondary and academic sources. The nature of Iron Man's costume being a powered armor allows artists to make constant changes to it without arousing controversy, unlike with other superheroes, with many designs noticeably different from one another. The frequent changes made to Iron Man's suits also reflect the character's nature as a futurist and working in tandem with scientific advances, which influence his suits. The consistency of his armors being form-fitting also reflects their status as a shield that protects Tony Stark as Iron Man from both external dangers, but also internal ones. A single image featuring many of them together helps showcase all of these points, as well as the similarities that exist across his various suits despite their noticeable differences.
