Summary

Description
English: A Norwegian road sign used on Svalbard to warn about the presence of polar bears. The text in Norwegian reads: Applies to the whole of Svalbard.

The current verion of the road sign, a "negative" of the old sign. This sign has a white polar bear on black background, where the older sign depicts a black bear on white background.

This is the only norvegian warning sign featuring a black background.
