| Description |
Israel-Gaza conflict, Gazan casualties (December 27th to January 24th) as reported by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights. This data indicates that the death rate during the offensive was smaller than the death rate of Russia in peace time. Also the death rate particularized for children below 12 years old and for women of any age was smaller than the death rate of the population in USA, Europe or Australia in times of peace. Nevertheless, it is significantly larger than the ussual death rate in Gaza, one of the lowest in the world due to the young population in the region. |
