Description
English: BARBARA PARLAMAN, WIDOW OF WALTER PARLAMAN, PURCHASED THIS LAND IN 1737. THE HOUSE IS A REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLE OF EARLY DUTCH STONE HOUSES. BARBARA’S SON JOHANNES BUILT THE WEST SECTION IN 1775; THE EAST PORTION PROBABLY WAS ADDED FOLLOWING THE MARRIAGE OF JOHANNES’S SON JOHN IN 1780
