English: Heritage Music BluesFest celebrates 20 years of music, food and camaraderie at Wheeling’s Heritage Port. The event began in 2001 when festival founder Bruce Wheeler had a vision to bring music to the newly constructed waterfront park on the bank of the Ohio River. Two decades later, the festival gets rave reviews and has the distinction of receiving The Blues Foundation’s 2010 Keeping the Blues Alive award in the festival category.
Award-winning acts as well as up-and-coming musicians grace the festival’s MainStage, while the SecondStage features local and regional acts.
