Other information

This screenshot was captured by Wikipedia contributor Strudjum on February 6, 2018. It should be noted that the surviving available copies of Harlem Is Heaven are rather poor in their visual quality. The lack of overall clarity of screenshots from the film, abrupt scene cuts, and the film's choppy frame rates are due less to degradation over time than to the low-budget cinematography and rapid production and editing schedules of the original film. As noted in the related article, the entire budget for the film was "less than $50,000" (likely far less), and the production's entire filming on sets and on location was done in only one week.

Licensing[edit]

Both the American Film Institute (AFI) and Turner Classic Movies (TCM), as cited in the Wikipedia page for Harlem Is Heaven, state that no copyright registration for this film, even from the time of its 1932 release, has ever been found.
