The main theme is the pair of red vulture heads in silver field, taken from the coat of arms of the lords of Jenštejn, a branch of the family of the lords of Vlašim.

Znak byl schválen dne 9.11.2011 Podvýborem pro heraldiku a vexilologiii Poslanecké sněmovny Parlamentu České republiky. Hlavním motivem je dvojice krkem spojených červených supích hlav ve stříbrném poli, převzatá z erbu pánů z Jenštejna, větve rodu pánů z Vlašimi.
