Summary

Description
English: At sea, off Bilbao, Spain. 1937-05-04. Gunner John Henry Endicott RN, on watch on the deck of the RAN Destroyer HMAS Vampire while on patrol. Endicott later died on 11 July 1940 from wounds caused by bomb-splinters from Italian enemy aircraft bombs which straddled the destroyer.
