English: Co-composers of the Prize-Winning Marine Corps Reserve Marching Song, Mr. Howard Fenton and Mr. Gene Bone, receive a Certificate of Appreciation from Colonel John H. Griebel, Director, 3rd Marine Corps Reserve District, in behalf of Major general William T. Clement, Director, Marine Corps Reserve. Following the presentation in New York, the United States Marine Corps Band in Washington, D.C. played the rousing number after the Mutual Broadcasting Network.
