Media data and Non-free use rationale
Description The Johnny Mannah Cup is played for annually between the National Rugby League's Parramatta Eels and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks clubs, on the first occasion the two sides meet in a season. The trophy is named for former player Jonathan 'Johnny' Mannah, who passed away of a rare disease called Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2013, at age 23. Mannah had played for both the Sharks and Eels during his career, so the clubs together instituted the cup in his name to be contested annually from 2013 onwards in perpetuity.
