DescriptionJolly Sailor, South Norwood, SE25 (5718197616).jpg
One more pub, directly opposite The Albion. This is one of the oldest pubs in the area, and dates back to when it sat on the banks of Croydon Canal (which closed in the 1830s and was later filled in by the railway line). In fact, Norwood Junction station even took its original name from this pub. (It was only called the Royal Sailor for a brief period in the late-19th century.)
