DescriptionJuggs Road, Castle Hill - geograph.org.uk - 51632.jpg
English: Juggs Road, Castle Hill. This track is the old road to Brighton from Lewes. When the market was on in Brighton the womenfolk of Lewes used to walk over this track carrying baskets of produce to sell. The baskets were called Juggs hence the name. Looking east, Lewes can be seen in the background. The bushes to the left are on an ancient mound next to a dew pond.
