Description	English: Junction at Main Street, Spring Street, and 9th Street, Los Angeles, ca.1917 Photograph of the junction at Main Street, Spring Street, and 9th Street, Los Angeles, ca.1917. Main Street and Spring Street begin to span outward creating a triangular shaped block (center). Trolly, and tracks of the Los Angeles Yellow Car streetcars are in the pavement. A majority of the building along these streets is approximately three-stories or taller. There is a fountain in the island situated in the middle of the large multi-directional intersection. The streets are crowded with pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
