English: US weightlifting champion Karyn Marshall is a chiropractor who volunteered to help the rescue effort at the World Trade Center site in downtown Manhattan, following the attacks of September 11, 2001. This badge identified her to other first responders. The letter Z indicated that Marshall was allowed full access to everywhere on the Ground Zero site.
