Description
Español: "La prisión de los virreyes", obra del pintor bogotano Coriolano Leudo Obando (Firmada). Muestra el arresto del Virrey Antonio José Amar y Borbón y su esposa doña Francisca Villanova tras los sucesos del 20 de julio de 1810. Este cuadro se encontraba en el Palacio San Francisco, sede de la Gobernación de Cundinamarca, pero desapareció durante los eventos del Bogotazo. En el Museo 20 de julio se conserva una copia.
English: "The prison of the viceroys", the work of painter Coriolano Leudo Obando (Signed). It shows the arrest of Viceroy Antonio José Amar y Borbón and his wife Francisca Villanova after the events of the Revolt of July 20, 1810. This painting was in the San Francisco Palace, headquarters of the Governorate of Cundinamarca, but disappeared during the events of the Bogotazo. In the Museum July 20th there is a copy of the painting

Public domain This file is in the public domain because the copyright of this work, registered in Colombia, has expired, according to “Law 23 of 1982 on Copyright, Articles 11, 21-29”, amended by “Law 44 of 1993, Article 2” and “Law 1520 of 2012, Articles 4, 6 and 10” (details). However, some restrictions have to be addressed:
  • Author rights expire eighty (80) years after the death of the author or the death of the last coauthor.
