Summary

Description
English: N.N. , Gussstahlfabrik Friedrich Krupp, Essen: Ansicht lange 28 cm Kanone in hoher Küsten-Laffete. Foto auf Karton, 47,6 x 61,5 cm (inkl. Scanrand). Architekturmuseum der Technischen Universität Berlin Inv. Nr. F 9823.
The title refers to the gun as a Lange 28 cm Kanone in 1869, another picture in the same series (F 9825) refers to a Kürze 28 cm Kanone in 1869 and depicts the Russian 11 inch Pattern 1867 gun. Therefore, we can assume that this photo depicts an early version of the 28 cm RK L/22. In July 1869 Prussia ordered its first 28 cm RK L/22.
Nederlands: Herman van Werden , Gussstahlfabrik Friedrich Krupp, Essen: Foto van Lang 28 cm Kanon op hoge kust laffete. Foto op karton, 47,6 x 61,5 cm (incl. scanrand). Architekturmuseum der Technischen Universität Berlin Inv. Nr. F 9823.
In juli 1869 bestelde Pruisen haar eerste 28 cm RK L/22.
