PlosOne[1] A Lapa do Santo é um sítio arqueológico localizado na região de Lagoa Santa em Minas Gerais. Apresenta um rico registro da cultura material dos grupos que habitaram o Brasil central durante Holoceno Inicial, Médio e Final. Dezenas de sepultamentos humanos foram encontrados na Lapa do Santo. Outro aspecto importante da Lapa do Santo é que em 2009 foi encontrado um grafismo rupestre picoteado no piso calcáreo que no fundo das unidades FG-13/14 a quase 4 metros abaixo da superfície. O pacote de sedimentos arqueológicos estava muito bem datado indicando que o grafismo picoteado havia sido feito a pelo menos 11 mil anos atrás. Constitui, portanto, o caso mais antigo de grafismo rupestre datado de forma incontestavel do Brazil. Esse grafismo representava um 'antropomorfo' filiforme cuja cabeça apresenta forma de 'C' e os membros superiores e inferiores são tri-digitados. Alguns pesquisadores sugerem se tratar de um híbrido humano-passaro sendo a cabeça em 'C' um bico. O desenho em questão apresentava um falo ereto e por isso foi apelidado Taradinho pelo Prof. Walter Neves, coordenador da equipe responsável pela descoberta em 2009. Um aspeco interessante é que esse tipo de estilo de desenho é encontrado de forma muito parecida não apenas em outros sítios da região de Lagoa Santa, como a Lapa do Ballet e Lapa das Caieiras, mas também em diversas localidades do nordeste incluindo o Rio Grande do Norte - distante em mais de 1500 km da Lapa do Santo. |
