An image of a hard drive connector (yet unidentified) taken by me to be used as auxiliary material for a question on the Reference Desk

It is a IDE Hard Drive with an addapter on it, im not sure on the type of connecter but it just pulls right off and on to a new IDE HDD.
Source - I just did this myself with my mums laptop and found the same thing.
