Description The Light Tank, T1E3, a U.S. Army light tank built in 1930 by modifying a T1E1. This tank carries the same 37 mm long-barreled Browning semi-automatic gun that had been used by the preceding T1E2. The driver's front hatch is open. Unlike previous T1 versions, which had unsprung suspensions, the T1E3 had a new suspension with coil springs and hydraulic shock absorbers, though this feature is here obscured by armor plate.
