On this island, you will find what life has built around me like a coral barrier of concretions and shells that have created the woman and writer that I am since 1972, the year of my birth. My mother is a Lercari, a lineage of pirates, and from my ancestors, I inherited that flavor for struggle and adventure that I pour into my writing, while my father, a Marshal of the Italian Navy, raised me by teaching where danger lurked and the many ways to face it. This is me. Come, wanderer, pilgrim, follow me on this fantastic island where you will find old and new friends and fantastic, terrible, and joyful adventures and stories.
