Description
English: A louse fly, probably a deer ked, Lipoptena cervi. This specimen has broken wings. (If the wings were actively shed from the fly or broken while trying to remove the animal from the – human – hair, is unclear.)
Deutsch: Wahrscheinlich eine Hirschlausfliege (Lipoptena cervi). Dieses Exemplar fand sich im menschlichen Kopfhaar (nach einem Ausflug) und weist nurmehr Flügelreste auf. Ob die Flügel aktiv von der Fliege abgeworfen wurden oder abgebrochen sind beim Versuch, das Tier aus dem Haar zu entfernen, ist unklar.
