English: Sanctuary cross in cast bronze, designed by the artist Imogen Stuart in collaboration with Brian Byrne of Church Art Metals. The casting was done by Leo Higgins. The sculpture presents Christ with uplifted arms, triumphing over the Cross. (See St. Mel's Cathedral Longford – Visitor's Guide.)
