Summary

Description
English: The site of the former village of Lowfield Heath; originally in Surrey, but now part of the Borough of Crawley in West Sussex, England. Looking north along the former London to Brighton Road, now renamed "Old Brighton Road South" following the main road's diversion. The road is abruptly truncated in the distance (behind the lorry), at which point a gate leads directly on to London Gatwick Airport's runway. The former village street runs east (right) from the Travelodge hotel sign.
