Français : Construite en 1666, la chambre funéraire est de toute beauté. Le mausolée de Moulay Ali Sherif, un des fondateurs de la famille Alaouite qui a régné sur Tafilalet durant la seconde moitié du XVIIe siècle, a subi plusieurs restaurations. En 1997, la réfection des sols, mosaïques et plafonds a été confiée à des artisans fassis tandis que les charpentiers de Meknès ont rendu aux portes leur splendeur. La zaouïa est aujourd’hui un lieu de pèlerinage et sert d’hébergement aux pèlerins.
English: Built in 1666, the burial chamber is absolutely beautiful. The mausoleum of Moulay Ali Sherif, one of the founders of the Alaouite family who reigned over Tafilalet during the second half of the 17th century, has undergone several restorations. In 1997, the repair of the floors, mosaics and ceilings was entrusted to Fassi craftsmen while the carpenters of Meknes restored the doors to their splendour. The zaouia is now a place of pilgrimage and serves as accommodation for pilgrims. |
