English: Mandapakkadu (Structure With Mound). More commonly known as Kaadukuttai by the local people. Present in Chettipalayam suburban area of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It appears to be a mound made of coarse gravel. தமிழ்: மண்டபக்காடு. காடுகுட்டை என்று உள்ளூர் மக்களால் அழைக்கப்படும் இவ்விடம், கோயம்புத்தூர் மாவட்டம் செட்டிபாளையம் என்னும் இடத்தில உள்ளது. இது கற்குவியலால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட முகடு. பண்டைய பல்லவ மன்னர்களின் ஆட்சி காலத்தில் அங்கு வாழ்ந்த அரச குடும்பத்தின் கல்லறையாக இவ்விடம் விளங்கியது என கூறபடுகிறது.

Mandapakkadu, locally known as Kaadukuttai, present in Chettipalayam suburbs of Coimbatore, is believed to be a burial ground for the royals who ruled that area during the reign of Pallavas. It is believed that the body is buried in pots along with coins that were used during that period as currency. It is allegedly believed by the local people that there is a treasure buried beneath the mound and few have reported about finding some ancient coins in the near by fields while ploughing the land for farming (Information received from the local people). Indian Government has recognized this place as an Cultural Heritage site and fenced it to avoid exploitation.
