Summary

Description
English: The breakthrough of German troops at Volokolamsk at November 16, 1941 on the Nelidovo-Dubosekovo-Shiryaevo section. Red and blue arrows marked the advancement respectively of the 1st and 2nd combat groups of the 2nd Panzer Division of the Wehrmacht through the formations of the 1075th Infantry Regiment of the 316th Infantry Division. The dotted line indicates the approximate front line: pink - the starting position, purple - after the battles on November 16, blue - after the battles on November 17.
