  • In South: Sassanian Yemen after Badhan, Khosrow II's governor converted to Islam.
  • In East: Eastern Arabia (al-Bahrayn) was ruled by Muhammad through his deputy, al-Ala'a ibn al-Hadrami.
  • In West: Western Arabia (Hijaz) after Muhammad's Conquest of Mecca and Banu Hawazin and Thaqif in Tayf.
  • Central Arabia: Of the tribes that recognized Muhammad as leader, some of them paid the jizya tax to Muhammad (including Khaybar and Najrani), while the rest were still led by their respective tribal chiefs (including Banu Hanifa and other Rabi'ates tribe, and Bedouin tribes)
  • This map shows the territory of the first Islamic state after Muhammad's Conquest of Mecca.
