English: Marrick Priory, near to Marrick, North Yorkshire, Great Britain.
Marrick Priory dates back to the twelfth century when it was founded as Benedictine nunnery. Succumbing to the same fate as many ecclesiastical foundations in England during the reign of Henry VIII, the priory was dissolved in 1540. In the 1960s work commenced to convert the surviving buildings into an outdoor education centre.
