Author or copyright owner	Unknown. Possibly a selfie (based on the somewhat awkward pose on the uncropped image) and/or the image used on the back of one of his books (based on this CNN review). It doesn't appear to be a photo from a press agency, the technical quality aspects don't suggest that and NPR credits a historical image of Libya dictator Gaddafi to "AFP/Getty Images" while not crediting this photo at all. If the photo had a known author, we'd have seen it there.
