English: The Mayflower Primary School, Poplar, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
In 1917 it was called Upper North Road School and was hit by a bomb from a German Gotha bomber, which exploded in the Infants' Department on the ground floor. Eighteen children were killed and thirty seriously injured. The school building was demolished and rebuilt in 1928 and renamed Mayflower Primary in 1952.
