Not content to rest on the laurelsof their father and their four brothers,the Roosevelt girls also jumped to theforeground when we went out to beatthe Hun. Mrs. Nick Longworth, thewife of Representative Longworth, ofOhio, who gave the country Aliceblue when her father was in theWhite House, turned her spaciousmansion in Cincinnati over to the RedCross almost at the outset of the con-flict.
