English: A rotatable shortwave log-periodic antenna (seen from below) at the Moosbrunn transmitting station of the Austrian Broadcasting Service (Österreichischen Rundfunksender GmbH, ORS), Moosbrunn, Austria. A log-periodic antenna is a high-gain broadband directional antenna based on dipole elements. It consists of two V-shaped elements each consisting of a wire bent into a zigzag shape. Each wire element functions as 13 dipoles of graduated lengths, fed in series. It's usable bandwidth extends from 49 m (6.1 MHz) to 13 m (23 MHz).
