English: Mrs. Hannah Maclurcan, licensee of the Queen's Hotel and author of "Mrs. Maclurcan's Cookery Book: Practical Recipes Suitable for Australia". The first two editions were published in Townsville by T. Willmett & Sons in 1897 and 1898. She refurbished the Wentworth Hotel in Sydney and was perhaps the first Australian celebrity cookery writer (and perhaps also the first to be accused of passing off others' recipes as her own).
