BOTH THE CEMETERY (FOUNDED IN THE LATE-17TH CENTURY AND STILL ACCEPTING BURIALS) AND THE SURVIVING NEWARK UNION CHURCH (BUILT IN 1845 AND REMODELED IN 1906) REPRESENT THE EVOLVING RELIGIOUS DEMOGRAPHICS OF RESIDENTS NORTH OF WILMINGTON.
