Description Jackson Square Branch of the New York Free Circulating Library. Built by George W. Vanderbilt in 1888. Harry M. Lydenberg's History of the New York Public Library of 1923 (illustration caption between pp. 208 and 209) gives the address as 251 W. 13th St.
