Summary

Description
English: Thrills, Mystery, Terror and Suspense: painted cover of Nightmare number one (Ziff-Davis, summer 1952). With horror firmly in the lime light, many publishers looked towards the "bloody" pulps of the 1930s for inspiration. Artwork by Allen Anderson (promising considerably more than the interior delivered).
